AAWE Live Play-Reading Group

The AAWE Play Reading group will meet for the first  time of the season to read out loud Larry Shue's "The Foreigner". The play was first performed in 1984. Here's what the LA Times said about it: "One reason Larry Shue's "The Foreigner" is so frequently performed is because it's one of the few modern comedies that remains true to human nature despite its absurd excesses. Another reason is that it's outrageously funny."

We all need to laugh a bit at this point in time, don't you think? So come and join us for a fun read. The organizer of the Play Reading Group will be sending out a PDF of the script ahead of  the reading. We will choose roles at the beginning of the meeting.
