This lively event will be held at Carrie Solomon’s brand-new restaurant, Chez Carrie, where you’ll savor delicious food and drinks before joining an engaging panel discussion featuring four dynamic and accomplished women. Together, we’ll explore how women are redefining culinary leadership in Paris and beyond, and how tradition, innovation, ethics, and climate change intersect in the food and wine industry today.

  • Carrie Solomon – Chef, cookbook author, recipe creator, and owner of Chez Carrie

  • Camilla Velasquez – General Manager, New York Times Cooking

  • Lindsey Tramuta – Paris-based author and culture & travel journalist

  • Jordan Salcito – Award-winning sommelier, author, and creator of Ramona (organic wine spritzer)

Platinum events are unique fundraisers. Net proceeds from these events help support AAWE, as membership dues do not cover all expenses. Any leftover funds at the end of the year are added to AAWE’s Philanthropic Giving budget and gifted to deserving French non-profit organizations who are selected by the Committee.
