Thursday, November 6
18h30-20h00
Online via Zoom
Join us for an authentic and engaging conversation with Jacki Edry — an author, speaker, educator, and internationally recognized advocate for neurodiversity and inclusion.
Jacki is the author of Moving Forward: Reflections on Autism, Neurodiversity, Brain Surgery, and Faith, a powerful and deeply personal book that weaves together her life experiences as a neurodistinct individual, brain surgery survivor, and parent to neurodivergent children. Her journey has shaped her mission to change the way society sees and supports people who think, learn, and perceive the world differently.
A graduate of Hampshire College with over 35 years of experience in education, communication, and advocacy, Jacki lectures worldwide on topics such as neurodiversity, autism, sensory processing, acquired neurodivergence, and inclusive education. Her insights are filled with practical suggestions that resonate with educators, parents, clinicians, and allies seeking to gain a deeper understanding of individuals with neurodistinct minds.
In 2023, Jacki was honored as one of the Top 50 Global Neurodiversity Evangelists by ND by Design, powered by Dynamis. She also writes a blog, enjoys speaking on podcasts, and offers free 15-minute consultations to help others navigate the path of neurodiversity with compassion and clarity.
Originally from New York and now living in Israel, Jacki continues to inspire through her writing, speaking, and unwavering belief that every mind has value—and every voice deserves to be heard.
This event is the first in the series, "Neurodiversity: Real Women, Real Stories."
