AAWE's Green Team is holding their first mending meet-up. The goal is to raise awareness around textile waste by encouraging members to mend their clothing to keep it in circulation (and out of landfill) longer.
For our first meeting, we will be discovering Sashiko mending with Lori Z and Mary Ellen.
Please bring anything you would like to work on. We will have thread, needles, marking tools, and some scraps to help you get started.
