Almost two years ago, we kicked off the amazing FAWCO Foundation Awesome Blossoms project with AAWE at La REcyclerie, and now, it’s time to wrap up this journey right where it began. Thanks to your support, and FAWCO clubs around the globe, this groundbreaking initiative has raised over $160K, feeding more than 1,500 schoolchildren, empowering 75 women entrepreneurs, and creating lasting change through education and community programs for women and girls in Nairobi. La REcyclerie, nestled in a restored train station along the picturesque petite ceinture, is the perfect venue for a farewell filled with gratitude, laughter, and inspiration. With its locally sourced produce, some of which is grown on-site at its urban farm, you’ll enjoy a delicious brunch while reflecting on the incredible impact we’ve made together.
