Meet at 9:45 am for a visit from 10 to 11 am.
Meet outside the small entrance to Le Bon Marché at the angle of rue de Babylone and rue Velpeau (a tiny street adjacent to the park).
This tour will start à l'heure, so please arrive on time.
During the visit our guide will tell us about the creation of this department store and about some of its major innovations throughout the decades (sales, marketing, personnel, etc.). Various details of the architecture will be pointed out, some of which are classified as monuments historiques. We will also see some of the works in Le Bon Marché’s contemporary art collection, including the current exhibit created especially for this space by Daniel Buren. And we will see some spaces that are usually not open to the public.
You won’t want to miss this very special visit.
