The AAWE Refugee Task will have a special presentation by AAWE member Lynne Chaillat on a recent class she took called "Action Sociale et Migration" led by Noemi Pate, in French, at the Institut Catholique de Paris.
The “Action Sociale et Migration” is a training course that provides concrete answers to those who wish to get involved in the issue of migration: social workers, educators, teachers, legal and territorial actors, association volunteers, HR, HR Directors, Diversity and Inclusion Managers, CSR Managers. Lynne will tell us what she learned in this course, her thesis paper, etc. The Task Force is a community-wide initiative that has served as a forum for cross-organizational connections and information-sharing, allowing resources to be quickly identified to fill the evolving needs of those arriving from distant and often dangerous places to begin new lives in our community.
