AAWE Refugee Task Force present a book talk and signing with journalist and author, Mursal Sayas, who will discuss her recently published, Qui Entendra Nos Cris?

Originally written in Persian and translated into French, Qui Entendra Nos Cris? is a compilation of ten narratives, each underscoring the plight of Afghan women who have fallen victim to violence in a country marred by misogyny and patriarchal dominance. It is a wake-up call to the world, illuminating the dire conditions faced by these women daily. Her book restores their dignity by telling their stories.

Mursal also includes her own story of her life in Afghanistan, adding a personal urgency to the situation. AAWE member and News Editor Jane Mobille was Mursal's writing coach for her book.

Books will be provided by Humensis, and available for purchase and signing after the talk, followed by light refreshments.

Note: Qui Entendra Nos Cris? is in French, and the presentation will be in English.
