Someone to sit with a sick partner, so I can go out. A grandma to spend time with the littles. A phone call to see how I’m doing. Someone to accompany me to the hospital. The ways we might need a helping hand vary, the time we might have to give a helping hand vary just as much. We would like to put together a database of volunteers willing to offer their hands and their hearts to members who might need it. Join us to help build this idea into a program! Right now, we need people who believe in the idea, who are willing to spend an hour or so together brainstorming the possibilities. AAWE has historically been thought of as a home away from home for many of us. This initiative will help us see how we can contribute to and count on our AAWE tribe.
