A group for fluent French speakers looking to improve their speaking skills while enjoying French films. You will watch a French film at home (available on Netflix, Prime Video, CanalVOD, Orange, YouTube and other platforms), before a lively and engaging discussion in French together on Zoom. For each film, you will receive a handout with information on the director, the actors, the movie and questions to guide our conversation. This group will be online and guided by member Valérie Brosbrann, who grew up in Paris and moved to the US in 1981. She lived for 37 years n New York City, Washington D.C, and Boston. She has been teaching all levels of French since 1986, from adults with the US State Department, the World Bank, IMF, and in private high schools in Manhattan.
